Senior Corporate Accountant

Brandon Clark with Connexa Search Group is working with an established professional services company located between Greenville & Spartanburg that is adding a Corporate Accountant to its accounting team. The company is part of a global organization, and the accounting team is small, close-knit, and deadline driven.

SUMMARY

This Corporate Accountant works side by side with the Controller on the monthly close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.

WHY THIS ROLE

You will work directly with the Controller on a small team where your work is seen and matters. The close runs on a tight, disciplined calendar with reporting to a global parent organization, which builds sharp corporate accounting skills quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities on a fast close calendar Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies Enter and maintain financial transactions and data in the ERP system Prepare schedules and documentation for the annual external audit Assist with financial reporting and other accounting projects as assigned Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in Business with a concentration in Accounting Accounting experience in a corporate or industry setting Experience working in a large ERP system Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Strong knowledge of general accounting principles Organized, proactive, and detail oriented, someone who stays ahead of deadlines rather than working at the last minute A steady work history and a desire for a long term, full-time role #J-18808-Ljbffr Connexa Search Group
