Requirements
- Active RN license valid for practice in North Carolina (or multistate compact where applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Recent experience working on a Progressive Care Unit / step-down unit
- Ability to work the assigned 06:45–19:15 shift and commit to the 13-week assignment (05/06/2026–08/05/2026)
- Must be able to meet standard travel-assignment onboarding (background check, immunizations, facility orientation)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for progressive care patients, including medication administration, IV management, and ongoing assessments
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and other monitoring equipment; respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and unit-specific protocols; participate in shift handoffs and patient education
