Role Description The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Canfield, OH, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial management and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing the general ledger, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Controller will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations, as well as monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. This role partners closely with leadership to provide financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and maintain internal controls that safeguard company assets. The Controller will also coordinate with external auditors, manage tax-related documentation, and continuously improve accounting processes and systems. Qualifications Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month-end close activities. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and decision-making. Knowledge of internal controls, audit practices, and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements. Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ability to supervise or coordinate accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not required. Relevant experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant, ideally in manufacturing, fleet, or transportation-related industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
