Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

To support financial management initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting will oversee non-grant revenue processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage an Accountant while working remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee and improve non-grant revenue stream processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 Serve as the escalation point for complex revenue issues and advise on risk mitigation strategies Manage accounts receivable processes, including cash receipts and invoicing, while strengthening internal controls Required qualifications BA/BS degree in accounting preferred; at least five years of experience in revenue accounting for a non-profit required Minimum of two years' management experience in revenue management with direct supervision responsibilities Expertise in ASC 606 and creating processes for revenue recognition Experience with business collections and compliance with CECL Proficiency with accounting software and data management systems required
