Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (LTC) Contract

Facility: Crest Nursing Home
Location: Butte, MT
Address: 3131 Amherst Ave, Butte, MT 59701
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Variable Evenings (includes day shift option noted)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week | 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,600/week

Job Summary

Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and rehab residents, including medication administration, wound care, patient monitoring, and support with ADLs in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Requirements

• Active LPN license (MT or compact eligible)

• Minimum 1 year LTC/SNF experience preferred

• Experience with medication administration and geriatric care

• Ability to work in a high-ratio long-term care environment

Required Credentials

• LPN License – Required

• BLS – Preferred

Schedule Details

• Primary: Evenings 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM

• Additional option noted: Day shift 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM

• 40 hours/week, 5 days/week

• 8-week contract

• Weekend coverage possible (Sunday–Saturday workweek)

• Overtime available

Facility Notes

• LTC + Rehab population (no vents or trachs)

• 2 nurses on day/evening shifts, 1 nurse overnight

• 1 RN always on site + RN on-call support weekends

• CNA ratio: ~7 on days, 4 on nights

• Residents include feeding assistance and occasional tube feeding cases

• Charting system: American Data ECS

• No smoking on property

• Scrubs: Any color permitted

Housing Notes

• Facility recommends Eddy’s Motel (Butte, MT) for travelers

• Avoid Motel 6 & 8 per facility guidance
