Emergency Management Specialist
As an Emergency Management Specialist, you will:
- Lead emergency response operations by maintaining situational awareness, managing mission assignments, coordinating response activities, and supporting Incident Management System (IMS) operations during public health emergencies and exercises.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, continuity of operations plans, training programs, and exercises to enhance organizational readiness for all-hazards incidents.
- Coordinate emergency management activities with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international partners to support preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.
- Manage emergency response resources by coordinating responder staffing, deployment support, logistical operations, travel requirements, and continuity of operations capabilities.
