Mechanical Engineer for Land and Air Systems

Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Role and Position Objectives:

As a mechanical engineer for Land and Air Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing mission critical situational awareness and real-time information for communication equipment on land and in the air. You'll design equipment responsible for intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, and technology that enables air superiority with high assurance mission computers to on board weapons systems for our partners in the armed forces.

Preferred Skills or Experiences:

• Advanced proficiency with solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings.
• Substantial knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and understanding of application.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.

Workplace Options:

This position is Hybrid/Flex and NOT fully Remote. While on-site, you will be a part of the Fort Wayne, IN or Scottsdale, AZ.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $142,407.00 - USD $150,195.00 /Yr.
