Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care

Pediatric Pulmonology Telephone Triage RN

Schedule: 4x8 — Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri • 09:00–17:30

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Requirements:

• Active RN license required (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• 2 years RN experience in Pediatrics and/or Telephone Triage
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephone triage assessments and manage patient inquiries for pulmonary and respiratory conditions.
• Coordinate pharmacy calls and prescription refill processes.
• Complete necessary authorization forms for referrals and services.
• Provide guidance to patients and families regarding care options based on triage assessments.
• Document all interactions and triage decisions accurately in the electronic health record.
