Front Desk Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and service-focused Front Desk Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Clermont, KY. This role is ideal for an administrative professional with mailroom, reception, switchboard, and office services experience who enjoys supporting daily office operations in a professional environment. As a Front Desk Associate, you will help keep office services running smoothly by managing mailroom functions, handling shipping and receiving tasks, answering calls, directing visitors or inquiries, and supporting general clerical needs. This position offers a steady weekday schedule, hands‑on training in office processes, and the opportunity to build long‑term value with a supportive team. Key Responsibilities Manage shipping, receiving, and mailroom functions, including sorting incoming mail and parcels by recipient or department. Prepare digital mail for scanning and route documents into the appropriate department queue using internal systems. Process outbound domestic and international shipments using FedEx shipping management systems. Answer incoming phone calls, manage switchboard responsibilities, and direct calls to the appropriate departments. Restock office supplies throughout the facility and submit weekly inventory sheets for replenishment. Provide general administrative and clerical support while maintaining a professional and customer‑focused presence. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $20 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Location: Clermont, KY. Required Qualifications and Skills High school diploma required. Minimum of 1 year of prior mail services experience in an office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using or ability to learn shipping management systems, including FedEx shipping tools. Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence. Excellent customer service skills with a diplomatic, team‑oriented approach. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Assertive, resourceful, motivated, and willing to ask questions and take initiative. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a reception, front desk, administrative support, or office services role. Experience handling domestic and international shipping documentation. Familiarity with digital mail processing, document scanning, or mail queue routing systems.
