Role Description : The Loan Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, WA. The Loan Officer will guide clients through the mortgage application and approval process, including assessing financial information, explaining loan options, and recommending suitable products. Day-to-day responsibilities include originating new loans, collecting and verifying documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans comply with regulatory and company standards. The Loan Officer will build and maintain relationships with clients, provide responsive customer service, and follow up proactively to ensure a timely and smooth closing experience. This role also involves staying informed about current lending guidelines, interest rates, and market trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and lending processes. Solid knowledge of finance principles and practices related to residential lending. Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and the ability to work effectively with underwriting teams. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships. Proven experience in loan origination, including prospecting, application intake, and pipeline management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.
