DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an IT Tech Lead in Tampa, FL.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to provide technical direction, establish development standards, and mentor a team of software engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on development expertise with proven leadership experience and the ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams.Key Responsibilities:* Lead development teams by establishing technical standards, best practices, and architectural direction* Partner with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, cloud-based solutions* Ensure development teams remain aligned on technical priorities, quality standards, and delivery objectives* Mentor developers, conduct technical reviews, and support troubleshooting complex issues* Identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives* Contribute to Agile planning, backlog refinement, and technical roadmap discussionsRequirements* 8+ years of software development experience with prior Technical Lead or Engineering Lead experience* Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and AWS Cloud technologies* Experience designing enterprise applications, APIs, and modern cloud-native solutions* Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and software development best practices* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills* Proven ability to lead and influence development teams, including distributed or offshore resourcesPreferred Qualifications:* Experience with event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, or GitLab* Exposure to enterprise ERP integrations and large-scale digital transformation initiativesThis role is best suited for a leader who can drive technical excellence, align development teams, and help shape the future architecture of enterprise applications.Job TypeContractCompensation70 - $70
