Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the ICU Stepdown/PCU setting, ensuring clinical excellence and safety. Manage a diverse patient population with acute needs, supporting recovery and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' conditions regularly and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer standard drips and medications, excluding insulin and vasopressors.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical information accurately and in compliance with policies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of current PCU/Stepdown experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in managing patients with standard drips.
  
  
• 
  Possess good communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and patients.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work primarily night shifts, including weekend rotations.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  
  
• 
  Be able to float minimally, with limited need to leave the assigned unit.
