The Location

This is a remote position that offers the comfort of working from your own home office while staying highly connected to a national team, requiring only that you live within commuting distance of one of our clients US offices. To give you a smooth transition, the first two to three weeks of onboarding will take place from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Afterward, you will transition to a permanent schedule of 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM ESTa perfect setup for those who appreciate having their entire morning free for personal time, family, or avoiding the morning rush.

What You Will Do

• Act as the primary point of contact to expertly assess, resolve, or route accounting and billing inquiries from internal teams and valued clients.
• Drive a premium customer experience by providing proactive, timely, and professional updates on financial matters so stakeholders are always in the loop.
• Utilize your investigative skills to troubleshoot complex billing issues, leveraging available resources and escalating highly specialized requests to the proper teams.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all actions and resolutions within the ServiceNow platform and through email correspondence.
• Navigate financial tasks with precision, ensuring all practices align with firm policies and industry compliance standards while meeting service level goals.
• Actively engage in ongoing training to continuously elevate your mastery of our accounting software and internal processes.
• Build lasting trust across the organization by delivering reliable, transparent, and high-quality service in every interaction.

Who You Are

• You bring at least 1 year of hands-on experience in client billing or accounting, ideally within a service-oriented or professional environment.
• You have strong, practical experience utilizing major financial platforms such as Aderant, ChromeRiver, and BillBlast to manage complex billing workflows.
• You possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills, allowing you to confidently navigate data using filters and pivot tables.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Word and comfortable managing document formatting, including headers, footers, and numbering.
• You have an excellent home office setup, including dual monitors, to effectively manage multiple systems and ensure you are working efficiently.
• You have exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of handling sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• You hold a High School Diploma or GED at minimum, though an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
