Receiving Clerk

Receiving Clerk - Warehouse Associate will off-load, inspect and receive material in a timely and accurate manner. Packing slips are to be compared to purchase orders to ensure material matches material ordered. Material will be inspected for damage, shortages and overages and noted as applicable in conformance with company policies, procedures. After receiving process is completed, material will be put-away in designated locations as applicable.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience using computer and Microsoft products
• Use a handheld scanner
• Do basic math
• Use a pallet jack and/or forklift
• Team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift/MHE experience/certifications

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

• Unload delivery trucks
• Make sure no damaged items are received
• Compare packing lists to purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Put stock away on shelves or in designated stock put away areas
• Conduct cycle counts

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $21 to $30 hourly.
