Key Responsibilities: Assists the executive steward with training and supervising stewarding personnel with an emphasis on upholding the Evermore Culture in all our offerings. Supervises the receiving of product to ensure proper quality and quantity is delivered. Guides and works with the stewards in preparation of their job assignments Maintains the highest level of security and safety standards for both our guests and Team Members Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pot and pans using dishwashers or by hand Maintain kitchen work areas including equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition Stock supplies, such as food or utensils in serving stations, stock areas and refrigeration units Sweep and mop floors, including floor mats Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area Complete safety training and certifications Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Education, Skills and Experience: High School Diploma 3+ years’ experience in an upscale facility SERV Safe Certified Ability to work scheduled shift, weekends, holidays and rotating schedule. Ability to convey information and ideas clearly. Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in all situations. Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary. Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by Team Members. Must have the Spirit of Hospitality and enjoy Guest Service, to both our internal and external guests. Physical Requirements: Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly. Able to safely lift, pull and push over 40 pounds. Able to be on your feet and move around for long periods at a time. Manual dexterity of hand to use all equipment.
