7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Sunday - Wednesday. This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works independently, performing MRI procedures that require independent judgment and initiative, along with a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Exercise independent judgment in the execution of MRI technical procedures.
- Ensure MRI safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 5 years of experience in a hospital setting as an MRI Technologist - Required
- Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiologic Technology - Required
- Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert Experience - Required
- Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - Required
- Toshiba and Cerner experience - Preferred
- Travel experience - Highly Preferred
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Required
- Active American Health Association BLS - Required
