Medina Center for Rehab & Nursing is now hiring Activity Assistants!

Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about bringing joy to others? We are seeking a caring Activities Assistant to join our team! This role is vital in supporting the overall well-being of our residents by providing engaging programs that enrich their daily lives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in recreation, activities, or working with seniors preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying abilities.
• Help with set-up, clean-up, and preparation of supplies and materials for activities.
• Escort and assist residents to and from programs as needed.
• Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes resident independence and enjoyment.
• Document attendance and resident participation.
