About the Position

We are seeking a locum tenens General Surgeon to provide acute care and trauma call coverage in North Dakota. The locum physician will provide acute care and trauma surgical coverage, including evaluation and management of emergency surgical patients and appropriate operative intervention.

Overview

• Acute Care Trauma Call
• Inpatient hospital setting
• 24-hour call coverage
• 12 hours primary call + 12 hours backup call
• No requirement to remain in-house while on call
• Pages must be answered within 20 minutes
• One APP assists with inpatient rounding
• Surgical Critical Care experience preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Surgical Critical Care experience/board certification – Preferred
• Level II trauma experience strongly preferred
