Job Title Instructor - Part Time (Welding Applicant Pool) Job Summary Classroom Instructor Job Duties
- Teach welding courses to students in a classroom setting.
- Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write speeches and articles with innovative style.
- Ability to deliver effective and persuasive speeches to top management and public groups.
- Ability to work with probability, statistical inference, geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practice.
- Regularly stand, use hands, talk or hear; occasionally reach, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- May lift up to 10 lb. (seldom 25 lb.).
- Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
- May work near moving mechanical parts; may work in a laboratory with safety rules and chemical tolerance.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
