Respiratory Therapist Position

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Winchester, TN where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based respiratory care across acute and skilled settings including ICU, emergency, and step-down units.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Required client certifications prior to start. Client reserves the right to require additional certifications. Refer to the employer checklist for the most up-to-date requirements.
• Must meet local travel consideration: candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel assignments. (Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in acute care hospital settings, including ICU and emergency department.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and advanced airway management.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 1900-0700.
• Schedule includes 12-hour night shifts.
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
