Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Print Operator is responsible for operating cut-sheet and high-speed printers, as well as perfect binding and stitching equipment to produce documents for DDS internal and external clients. This person is responsible for ensuring that they produce high-quality work on a timely basis. The Print Operator will work with the Print Coordinator and shift supervisor to prioritize work requests and ensure that work is processed in priority order. Qualifications High school graduate. Some college preferred One year of experience in a print production environment. Knowledge of IBM and Xerox cut sheet printers (IP200, 6180) or IBM high-speed printers (4000, 4100) preferred Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management at multiple levels. Solid organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be detail-oriented and able to review printed documents to ensure that they meet DDS quality standards Must be a self-starter and demonstrate strong initiative Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Must be flexible to work overtime, including weekends. Must be flexible to accept various assignments within the print room (e.g., running different jobs/equipment, learning to utilize new equipment, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr Randstad
