Overview This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace. Job Summary Mission Technologies, Cyber & Intelligence Team is seeking a motivated IT Specialist II to support a dynamic new initiative with one of our key clients—a leading force in strengthening the Department of Defense’s cyberspace operations. Responsibilities Be part of a mission-driven team at the forefront of cyberspace operations. Contribute to national security efforts. Gain exposure to full-spectrum cyber operations. Perform routine and emergency actions, including voice communication, message routing, and voice and video conference configuration and operation. Perform minor troubleshooting. Schedule and operate Video Teleconference (VTC) and POLYCOM Teleconference. Identify operational status of equipment and infrastructure. Initiate notification procedures to address outages/degradations following checklists and SOPs, and submit trouble tickets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and five years of experience or High School Diploma with six years of relevant experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology, including establishing, supporting, and maintaining Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. Experience providing support for emergency activities and emergency actions required for operations center support. Experience with knowledge wall projects. Experience with establishing and operating VTC and POLYCOM Teleconference. Experience identifying operational status of equipment and infrastructure. Basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform notification procedures and submit trouble tickets. US Citizen. Active TS/SCI/Polygraph clearance. Additional Information Required travel: 0 – 10%. Employment type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt. Salary range: $65,000.00 – $84,813.00. Security clearance required: TS/SCI with Poly. This role may involve a non-traditional work schedule. Candidates must be flexible and prepared to work off-shift hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operations.
