Chara Christian Dance Academy is looking for a Part-Time Studio Events Coordinator to support the planning, logistics, and execution of studio events and performances at South Houston’s largest dance studio. Working directly with the Director of Studio Events, you will oversee event preparation, supplies, and day-of operations to ensure our events run smoothly, efficiently, and with excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Recruit, thoroughly train, and direct event volunteers, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Build vendor relationships, handle setup/teardown, and manage prop and supply transport.
• Lead front-of-house logistics at events, in-house workshops, and dance productions.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing to communicate logistics to families and Student Programs for rehearsal/performance needs.
• Complete MTJGD trainings, annual staff training, and YPAD certification.

Qualifications & Core Characteristics:

• Background in event planning, administrative support, or logistics preferred.
• Strong communicator, quick learner, and creative problem solver.
• Highly reliable, organized, and calm under pressure.
• Welcoming and service-minded attitude.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Maintain accurate event documentation.
2. Well-trained volunteers and seamless event execution.
3. Full operational support at all major studio events.

Schedule & Hours:

• Employment Type: Part-Time / Seasonal
• Weekly Hours: 2–8 hours/week plus event weekends.
• Busiest Season: December through May, peaking in May at up to 40 hours during recital week.
