Our exceptional health center staff drives our mission forward by upholding our acclaimed customer service & confidentiality standards, and working to create a safe, judgement-free space for anyone seeking Planned Parenthood services.About Our Medical Assistant Phlebotomy PositionUnder the supervision and direction of the Health Center Manager, provides support to patients and co-workers by performing with accuracy and timeliness, a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in different areas of the health center.What Will You Be Doing!Providing non-judgmental, client-oriented care, and providing accurate information by answering questions and providing appropriate resources.Assisting with optimizing patient flow to keep appointments on schedule.Establishing and preparing documents for patient records and patient services.Key Responsibilities:Assisting patients by responding to reports and coordinating services from appropriate personnel or departments as needed.Utilizing comprehensive knowledge or birth control methods and reproductive health services to provide patient education.Providing Planned Parenthood Patient Education Sheets, (PES) and Informed Consent Forms, (ICF) Client and offers Planned Parenthood services or community resources for identified patient's needs.Optimizing patient satisfaction and efficient use of provider time by providing patient education to each type of visit, ensuing that exam rooms are adequately stocked and prepared prior to visit.Completing patient intake, preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, assisting the clinician, performing lab tests, providing injections, ordering and maintaining supplies, and variety of task which require demonstrating a knowledge of universal precautions, sterile techniques and hazardous waste disposal.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications:1-2 years in a healthcare setting.Medical Assistant Phlebotomy - CertificationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications. Experience with electronics health records.Salary Range:$21.30 - $29.14 hourlyPosition Type:Full-time – Split role between the Everett and Central District health centers.Tuesday - Wednesday (Everett)Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Central District)37.5 hours/weekThis is a union role – United Food & Commercial Workers 3000Benefits Eligibility:This position is eligible for PPGNHAIK benefits.
