Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of their medical backgrounds
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab findings
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and supplying surgical instruments during procedures
• Furnish outstanding pre- and post-operative care, from administering medications and wound management to discharge planning and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior experience in clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
