Sterilization Shipping Coordinator

Becton Dickinson seeks a Sterilization Shipping Coordinator to oversee outbound load processing and shipping operations at its Covington, Georgia facility. The role involves coordinating personnel, managing clerical tasks, ensuring compliance with documentation practices, and maintaining safety standards in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handling and processing of outbound loads in FIFO order
• Organize shipping personnel and allocate manpower to complete daily objectives
• Manage clerical requirements including material entry into ERP systems and shipping logs
• Ensure daily metrics are met and necessary supplies are stocked and available
• Train associates and communicate operational issues to leads and supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two to four years of material handling equipment and inventory management experience
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Knowledge of personal computers and ERP systems
• Good oral and written English communication skills
• No facial hair that interferes with protective MSA mask
