Low Voltage Installer

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Outsource is seeking a Low Voltage Installer to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role is ideal for a candidate with at least one year of hands-on experience installing and maintaining low voltage systems. The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial and residential projects, ensuring systems are installed safely and to specification.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling including data, security, and audio/visual systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine installation layouts
• Mount and wire equipment such as cameras, access control panels, and network racks
• Label and organize cabling to meet industry standards and project specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity or wiring issues on job sites
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of installations
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience installing low voltage systems such as security, data, or AV
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in low voltage installation
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Comfortable working at heights, in crawl spaces, and other varied job site conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
• Weekly pay
