A Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations, payroll, and core HR functions.

This position works closely with Management and plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and organizational stability.

We’re looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but also dependable, hard-working, and committed to the long-term success of the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the organization, while also providing payroll and HR functions.

You’ll be heavily involved in the overall planning and management of corporate financial health ensuring all aspects of accounting run smoothly from daily transactions to month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
• Post deferred revenue to the G/L
• Reconcile and record credit card processing fees
• Ensure timely and accurate close processes

Payroll Management

• Process bi-weekly payroll and prepare for approval
• Manage payroll liabilities and WC insurance
• Complete quarterly payroll reporting and year-end W-2s

HR & Office Management

• Onboarding of new employees
• Maintain employee records and support for HR compliance
• Assist with general HR processes and internal coordination

Financial Management & Oversight

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage bank feeds and maintain financial records in QuickBooks
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes
• Analyze G/L accounts and provide detailed reports for support when asked
• Support the CFO with financial tracking, reporting, and internal controls

Qualifications needed

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting
• Direct experience with payroll processing, time clock software and reporting
• Experience with office management and/or HR coordination
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting systems
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range $65,000 to $75,000 depending upon experience

• Eligible for annual bonus up to 10% of annual salary
