Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit supports a float pool, with typical assignments to units including 6N, 7N, 4N, 5S, 6S, and Critical Care. Nurses will report to the clinical coordinator prior to shift start and may float across units, primarily handling telemetry patients with basic cardiac rhythm interpretation. The unit maintains a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, with some shifts approaching 1:7 based on acuity. Nurses are expected to manage telemetry equipment, read and interpret strips, and work within a holiday rotation schedule. The unit utilizes EPIC charting, and orientation includes 1-2 shifts with a preceptor. The position begins on 10/26/2026 with an end date of 01/25/2027.
