As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help control access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de‑escalating tense situations when appropriate, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security‑related concerns to the proper contacts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
