Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding support to our customers. This position involves actively addressing inquiries, effectively resolving issues, and fostering a positive customer experience at every interaction.

What you will be doing:

• Process customer purchase orders, including order entry, acknowledgment, part setup, and pricing verification.
• Manage customer accounts and handle communications via phone and email.
• Adapt and provide support for additional accounts as needed.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers.
• Enter purchase order requisitions.
• Report and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain organized files.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

What will make you successful?

• Required Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience required. Less than 10% travel.
• Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Experience in extrusion or manufacturing customer service is desirable. Familiarity with Oracle P.O. management is considered an asset. Exposure to inventory and planning processes. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Working knowledge of AS400 is an asset. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in handling customer interactions via telephone and email. Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented. Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. Strong math skills.
