Step into the mill where precision turns raw corn into food-grade products. As a Food-Grade Corn Milling Process Technician, you’ll guide equipment start-ups, watch process indicators, make on-the-fly adjustments, and keep the line humming safely and efficiently from shift start to close.

A day in the mill

You arrive, review logs, and inspect milling lines. You bring systems online, monitor product specs, and fine-tune settings to hit targets. Mid-shift, you perform checks, swap screens or tooling as needed, and complete minor repairs to maintain uptime. You capture samples for quality, document readings and maintenance, and finish the day with cleanup and a safe handoff to the next crew.

Shifts and pay

• Days: 6 AM – 6 PM (2-2-3 schedule)
• Nights: 6 PM – 6 AM (2-2-3 schedule) — Shift Premium: earn an extra $3/hour and extra 40 hours of PTO for night shift
• Compensation: $25 – $27 per hour

What you’ll handle

• Operate and monitor milling equipment for smooth, efficient production
• Adjust machinery to meet precise product specifications
• Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs to sustain peak performance
• Run quality checks to verify every lot meets standards
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
• Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and results
• Record production data and maintenance activities accurately

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with milling equipment (preferred, not required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills
• A team-first approach with the ability to work independently
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus
