Travel RN – CVICU (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU setting
• Manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, and spinal drains
• Perform ECG interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Manage and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drip infusions
• Operate and monitor temporary pacemakers as indicated by patient condition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum 2–3 years of staff-level CVICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level One Trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring equipment and interpretation
• Experience with complex cardiac and vascular post-surgical patient populations
