Responsibilities:

• Coordinate program month-end closings including review of monthly journal entries, preparation of monthly financial statements and preparation of month-end account analysis, and integration of program financials into Agency financial package.
• Supervise bookkeeping personnel on a daily basis and provide training, coaching, counseling, as well as conducting performance appraisals.
• Review program vouchers and approve for payment.
• Conduct bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Post all cash receipts and cash disbursements, record obligation numbers on vouchers and maintain appropriate journals.
• Compile the annual Agency census for Department of Labor.
• Coordinate completion and input CFR, CBR, CCRs and CQRs into state approved software package.
• Coordinate processing of semi-monthly travel expense vouchers for payment. 
• Track capital budget and maintain fixed asset schedules.
• Prepare and submit various claims to funders for reimbursement.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; Accounting required
• Minimum of 1 year of prior related experience
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to perform effectively in a multi-priority, deadline environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• May be required to work flexible and/or extended hours to satisfy audit, budget and finance deadlines

Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday – Friday

Rate of Pay: $72,000 annual

 

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position .
