MRI Technologist

Role Overview Seeking a qualified MRI Technologist responsible for producing high-quality imaging that adheres to departmental standards. The role involves operating various imaging equipment, practicing safety protocols, and fostering teamwork through effective communication. Flexibility in work hours, including on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. Key Responsibilities Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images. Maintain safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self. Communicate effectively with team members and support personnel. Work varied shifts and respond to on-call pager notifications. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program. Certification in Magnetic Resonance (preferred) or related modality (Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, CNMT, ARDMS). Annual certification renewal required; ARRT (MR) certification within 18 months if pursuing post-primary certification. CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of employment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work independently and efficiently. Additional Details Opportunities for sign-on bonuses ($10,000 for general candidates; $20,000 with advanced certification and experience) and relocation assistance. Competitive hourly pay ($37.63 - $56.40). Full-time schedule with multiple FTE options (.9 or 1.0), including rotating shifts. Position is non-sponsored and not eligible for visa transfers.
