Senior Software Engineer Cloud Architect

Salary: $81,000 - 121,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• We require 5+ years architecting and developing cloud-based solutions in highly technical or aerospace environments.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• We require experience with DO-178C-compliant software development.
• We require strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and secure architecture design.
• A masters degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced air mobility, autonomous systems, or defense/aerospace domains is preferred.

• We lead the design and development of scalable, secure, mission-critical cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We conduct topology analyses and trade studies to guide architectural choices.
• We define and maintain system and software architecture aligned with mission requirements.
• We develop Software Design Descriptions and support subsystem architecture evolution through PDR and CDR design reviews.
• We integrate cloud systems with avionics, embedded systems, and legacy platforms.
• We create Interface Control Documents and support system-of-systems integration.
• We support certification efforts through documentation, validation, and evidence generation.
• We design and implement secure DevSecOps pipelines and accredited CI/CD workflows.
• We support verification and validation planning and execution.
• We engage with government and regulatory stakeholders.
• We lead cloud architecture activities through design reviews, product certification, and entry into service.
