Preop / PACU - RN - FT

South Denver Surgery Center is hiring a Preop/PACU RN FT to join our team! M-F daytime hours. No weekends, nights, calls or holidays* Prep/PACU Registered Nurse at South Denver Surgery Center Under the direct supervision of the Pre‑Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders and providing continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of patients’ condition. The nurse ensures patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times, assists physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate, and provides total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. The nurse performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current CO Registered Nurse License Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications ASC experience a plus Experience in PACU / ICU required Good communication and human relations skills Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative Thorough knowledge of all phases of the perioperative process, including surgical procedures and anesthesia implications Benefits 401(k) retirement plan Employee Assistance Program Employee discount program USPI provides paid leave in accordance with applicable law Hourly Range: $34 - $53 (based on experience) Job Posted 06/10/2026 and will remain open for 2 weeks
