Maintenance Mechanic: Delavan, Wisconsin

Our customer in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Maintenance Mechanics to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

• Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines running.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts, and align and calibrate machine parts.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.
• Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with lathes, mills, and CNC machines as a maintenance mechanic.
• Experience with electrical controls.
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work independently and in teams.

Pay for Maintenance Mechanic: $28-$32/hour.
