Principal Scientist, Preclinical Safety & Translational Sciences-Translational Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics

Principal Scientist role in preclinical safety and translational sciences focused on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics modeling. The position supports drug discovery and early clinical development through quantitative model-based analyses to inform candidate selection and dosing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Apply PK/PD modeling to inform project decisions across discovery through early clinical studies
• Develop physiologically-based and mechanistic modeling approaches to predict drug profiles
• Quantify exposure-response relationships for biomarkers, efficacy, and safety outcomes
• Guide experimental designs to generate the most informative data for modeling and analysis
• Contribute to organization-wide modeling and simulation strategies

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 4+ years industry experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles with PK/PD modeling experience
• Demonstrated mathematical modeling and simulation skills with peer-reviewed publications
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience guiding experimental design for modeling applications

Compensation: $117,000-$201,250 base
