American Sign Language Adjunct Instructor

Serves as an adjunct instructor for the Child & Youth Studies Department. Classes taught can and may include: American Sign Language I, II, III, IV Careers in American Sign Language Linguistics of American Sign Language Deaf History and Culture The schedule includes day and/or evening classes, face-to-face, online, hybrid, or SOM (Synchronous Online Learning). Course location may include: Thornley, Palmer, Mt. Pleasant, or Dorchester Campus during the Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters. This position requires a master's degree in ASL, Communication Disorders, or Hearing Impairment with a certification in American Sign Language. International transcripts must be evaluated through the World Education Services (WES). Employment applicants may be subject to a background check.
