As a Security Officer Guest Services Console in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related operations for the location.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining front desk logs, and communicating entry procedures to employees and guests.
Answer phones, greet visitors, and help to direct deliveries, appointments, and/or general inquiries in a professional manner appropriate for a financial services environment.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Support emergency response activities by notifying appropriate personnel, following post orders, and documenting security-related events and/or concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
