CLIENT OVERVIEW: Our client, a global fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Customer Support Representative JOB OVERVIEW: Role: Clinical Pharmacist Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 Work Type: Onsite for at least 6 months, with potential transition to hybrid based on performance metrics Pay Rate: $60/hr. Schedule: Training: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST Post-Training: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CST About the Role Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide clinical oversight, patient counseling, and operational support for specialty pharmacy services. This role is responsible for ensuring safe and compliant dispensing practices while delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating closely with clinicians, caregivers, and pharmacy staff. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pharmacotherapy reviews, including: Drug utilization review Drug interaction screening Compliance monitoring Side effect profiling Drug administration support Counsel patients on new therapies and treatment plans Document pharmacotherapy reviews and patient interactions in patient charts Complete REMS training and adhere to applicable SOPs Coordinate patient care with clinicians and healthcare partners Serve as liaison between patients, caregivers, nurses, and prescribing physicians Provide subcutaneous injection teaching support to patients and caregivers Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently Verify therapy discontinuation and update patient records accordingly Support clinical management programs for specialty therapies and disease states Handle intake for new patient referrals Deliver high-level customer service and foster strong patient/provider relationships Must be comfortable working extensively on patient calls and counseling sessions Operational Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and Board of Pharmacy regulations Dispense medications according to physician orders and legal requirements Verify prescription order accuracy and final product quality checks Assist pharmacy technicians with claims adjudication and workflow support Monitor hazardous waste management procedures Supervise pharmacy technicians and aseptic techniques Ensure accurate adverse event and product quality complaint reporting Maintain compliance with Medicaid and Medicare guidelines Professional Responsibilities Maintain required continuing education (CE) credits Support staff development and training initiatives Stay current on pharmacy best practices and industry developments Attend conferences and share learnings with the team Required Qualifications 3–5+ years of post-graduate pharmacy experience in: Clinical oversight Patient care Pharmacy operations Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy Current unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing Must be licensed in Texas BCOP certified or willing to obtain certification when eligible Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with patient counseling and specialty pharmacy workflows Working knowledge of sterile technique and quality control practices Strong computer and documentation skills Amerit Consulting provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
