The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Director to join our growing US sales organization. Each Area Sales Director owns a portfolio of approximately 20-30 enterprise accounts within our CPG business unit.

This role sits at the intersection of sales and professional services, with our most successful team members acting as strategic consultants and trusted advisors to our clients to help drive wider adoption of our existing product suite. This role covers the full spectrum of client engagement, from identifying opportunities and closing deals to staying involved throughout implementation to ensure successful delivery.

What You'll Do

• Build and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts, driving cross-sell, upsell and new logo revenue.
• Develop trusted, senior-level relationships across your accounts through engaging stakeholders beyond the primary sponsor and maintaining a regular meeting cadence.
• Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients understand the full value of e2open's platform and keeping satisfaction high.
• Create and maintain detailed account plans and close plans at the opportunity level.
• Partner with Solutions Consulting, Legal, Professional Services and other internal teams to progress and close deals.
• Accurately maintain Salesforce CRM and report on pipeline, activities and performance metrics.
• Represent e2open at industry events to stay current on market trends and generate new business opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• 8–10+ years in supply chain and logistics, whether in consulting, operations, solution architecture, or enterprise B2B SaaS sales (exposure to S&OP, demand planning or inventory optimization in a CPG environment is highly preferred).
• Experience selling supply chain, logistics, ERP or adjacent enterprise software.
• Proven ability to close and manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals across long sales cycles.
• Confident presenting to C-suite and VP-level executives, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Consultative, value-based selling approach with genuine curiosity about customer challenges.
• Ability to articulate technical solutions clearly in business terms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities concurrently.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
