As a Security Officer Refinery Access Control in Artesia NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors contractors and employees while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and authorization issue visitor and contractor access documentation and maintain accurate access records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access in accordance with site requirements including directing authorized personnel to designated entry points and coordinating with site contacts as needed.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points assigned business areas and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
