We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and align our supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, repair station, and operational activities in support of advanced avionics programs and aerospace solutions.

About the Role:
The Director of Operations leads all operational functions across supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and repair activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and on time delivery in a highly regulated aerospace environment. This role oversees operational strategy, process improvement, supplier coordination, and production execution while driving continuous improvement and cross functional collaboration. The position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to align teams, resources, and processes with business objectives and customer commitments.
Location: Irvine, CA, fully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply ChainManagement
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensuretimelydelivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels andoptimizethe supply chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Procurement
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure the acquisition of high-quality materials and components.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to securefavorableterms.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards in procurement activities.
OperationsManagement
- Direct and oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility and repair station.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Manufacturing Leadership
- Ensure the manufacturing process meets all quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
- Manage production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer commitments.
Repair StationOversight
- Supervise the repair station to ensuretimelyand cost-effective repairs of avionics equipment.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure repaired products meet the highest standards.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to source necessary parts and components.
Leadership and TeamManagement
- Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and mentor team members to achieve professional growth and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
CustomerFocus
- Maintainstrong relationships with key customers, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Address and resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support business development efforts.
Required Skills, Experience and Behaviors:
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field;Mastersdegree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the aerospace industry.
- Proventrack recordof successful leadership and team management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, and repair station operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiencyin using operations management software and tools.

Base salary range of $170,000k - $200,000k DOE per annum. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to location, skill set; relevant experience; and other business and organizational needs.
