Vendor Purchasing Inventory Specialist – Scotts Valley

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30

Pay: $24/hr (temp-to-perm)

The Inventory Specialist manages daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and smooth coordination with vendors and internal teams. This role supports purchasing, tracks inventory in the system, performs audits, and helps prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Key Duties:

• Inventory tracking and stock control
• Maintain inventory system for orders, deliveries, and adjustments
• Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor demand and coordinate with procurement
• Analyze inventory data for trends and cost-saving opportunities
• Process transfers, returns, and aging inventory
• Work with warehouse, sales, logistics, and procurement
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support management with inventory reports and KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field
• 3+ years inventory or warehouse experience
• Strong MS Office skills
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of auditing, forecasting, and ERP systems (NAV a plus)
