Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws and internal controls. Oversee financial audits; liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and timely reconciliations. Manage cost accounting team; analyze cost structures, variances, profitability. Oversee inventory valuation and physical inventory audits. Collaborate with production teams to track and optimize material, labor, and overhead costs. Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes and financial systems. Support ERP system implementation and continuous improvement of accounting software. Supervise and mentor accounting staff across accounts payable, receivable, cost accounting. Provide training, performance evaluations, and career development support. Foster collaboration between finance, operations, and supply chain teams.
