Aerospace Composite Trimmer I, 2nd Shift Annual-Full Time Manufacturing Sumner, WA, US Salary Range: $24.48 To $28.88 Hourly We are continuing to grow! We are currently accepting applications for 2nd Shift Trimmer needs at our Sumner location. Accrued time is available to use immediately Pay: $24.48 - $28.88/hour (full time, non-exempt). Pay includes 10% shift differential. Schedule: 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday - Thursday Position Summary As a Trimmer, you will perform a variety of techniques to work with composite components as part of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include Trim and deburr fabricated components using pneumatic power tools. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Promote safety in the workplace. Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand detailed instruction. Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written. Able to identify defective materials and parts. Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems. Experience One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Working Conditions Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
