• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour days, Mon-Fri (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM); weekend rotation ~ every 8 weeks (1-2x during contract); no holidays

• Orientation: Epic EMR training, hospital and department orientation provided

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (acute care or rehab experience preferred)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active North Dakota SLP license (or eligibility) - North Dakota licensure required for this SLP job
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Ability and willingness to float between inpatient and outpatient units as needed
• Epic EMR proficiency preferred (electronic medical record experience)
• Travel requirement: candidates must not have a permanent address within 80 miles of Bismarck

Key Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) evaluations and evidence-based treatments for adult patients
• Provide care across acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings as a hospital SLP
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in Epic electronic medical record system
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotations and collaborate with nursing and therapy teams
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop patient-centered goals and optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, ASHA standards, and facility procedures
