Medical AssistantPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: Seattle, WA Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 13 weeks Contract 40 hrs/ week Work Setting - Outpatient Clinic Pay - $25 to $29/ hr on W2Key ResponsibilitiesSupport providers with daily clinical operations and patient care activities.Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.Perform diagnostic testing and assist with routine clinical procedures.Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection following established protocols.Complete quality surveys and assist with quality improvement initiatives.Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment to ensure readiness for patient care.Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.Follow established quality control, infection prevention, and safety standards.Assist with additional back-office clinical responsibilities as assigned.Required QualificationsActive Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential in Washington State.High School Diploma or GED.Strong clinical and patient care skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.Experience administering injections and performing phlebotomy.Familiarity with diagnostic testing and outpatient clinical workflows.Strong customer service and patient engagement skills.Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
